It says a lot about the responses that I have gotten on this piece of meta that every time I click on the comment notification e-mail and the first bit of it comes up -- "Book canon only" -- I wince and brace myself for the comment, because I've gotten some stuff that's...I mean, this was the post that led to my, uh, public semi-breakdown. And there's a handful of stuff like that on there. (I mean, for the love of the gods, paraphrasing here, Aslan brings the Pevensies into Narnia so that he can give them a life because he knows they're going to die young!)

Went down to the Quarter with several of my friends. Bought yarn. Ate food. Was on Bourbon Street...not actually all that late, but after dark, and Bourbon Street freaks me the hell out.
