So! I spent somewhere around five hours at Borders yesterday -- my friend Lesley and I walked there and back, although, you know, we could have taken the streetcar, but it's nice six mile round trip walk, which isn't too bad, although we got back and my roommate's reaction (we ran into her at Borders) was something along the lines of, "You walked back along St. Charles after dark? THAT IS SO CREEPY" -- and came away with three books. Then I frantically pimped Narnia at people and we watched movies that were not Narnia.

i am contemplating holding a fannish food & movies night at my house. because i know a few really cool people in town who i mostly talk to online and it would be neat to talk to them in real life. except for how i completely fail at actual social interaction.

...what is this actual social interaction thing you speak of? *looks around warily* (I am actually getting immensely better at the social interaction thing, largely because it's hard to come up with excuses when the majority of your friends live in the same hall as you.)

Yes, I'm so sorry -- babe, I am so busy right now that I can't promise anything until Wednesday, I have midterms on Tuesday, reading for Monday and Wednesday, and a paper due Wednesday. And a headache, but that's unrelated.

Naw, don't worry about it. By off the hook, I mean that you don't have to beta anymore :). Since you have a lot on your plate, with Dust and school and stuff. I kind of want to get this fic up before my own midterms start anyway.

*winces* Your fic is not even on my radar right now. My fic isn't even on my radar right now. (My knitting is, but that's mostly a case of WHY DOES THE WORLD HATE ME.) I'm not even sure how much of my homework is on my radar right now besides my paper, which is the sort of thing that does not want to be written. Come ON.

Crackclaw is just one of those characters...opportunistic Narnian, loyalty up for debate, likes brassing off the Calormenes AND the Narnians...
