"Summer in the City"
Sep. 29th, 2005 05:16 pm*covers face with hands and shrieks* Don't do it, Aiden! Don't do it! NOOOOOOOOOO!
My God, Flack, what the hell did you do to your hair? The hell? And you look more uptight than Mac, which is...saying something, actually. You look like a Fed! Which is not a compliment, by the way.
Stella, what is it with you and pathologists? No, really. I mean, they just feel obligated to make you hold things and stick your hands into dead bodies and stuff.
CBS...you stole my plot. No, seriously. Murder in the Empire State Building. Law firm. One of the partners having an affair with the secretary. I agree that the specifics of it aren't all exact, but still, that's a pretty close resemblance. *pokes* Stop reading my fic!
That was pretty much all I wanted to say on that note.
Now, on a Bardverse note...this isn't going to change anything. Things should still go along as planned - Habeus Corpus will still get written, Bloody Sunday will continue as previously planned. Now, things the show does in canon may echo in the Bardverse - they could be fanonized - but the Bardverse officially goes AU after Season 1. Actually, it probably went AU long before that, but that's when the official resemblance ends.
Besides, am I the only one faintly amused by the fact that canon, known for being a very dark show, is lightening up and the Bardverse is getting much, much darker?

Date: 2005-10-01 03:00 am (UTC)I think the entire lab has trust issues right now - all except maybe Stella and Hawkes, who hasn't been there long enough to appreciate the madhouse he's getting into. It'll be interesting to see how he adjusts. And I'm still curious about how they're going to introduce Lindsay. (in the Bardverse, she gets introduced to Flack by Mac: "This is Detective Flack." Lindsay: *flirt* "Do you have a first name?" Flack: "Yeah. Detective." He's...ah, bitter. Not sure why. *prods* There's so a story in between Habeus Corpus and Bloody Sunday.) I plan to cut the Bardverse off after Bloody Sunday, at least right now, so I won't have to deal with the aftermath. Until further notice, that is. (Not to mention everybody's in the hospital or the morgue, so...not much story there, ya think?)
