The rules: Give me one of my stories and a timestamp sometime in the future after the end of the story, or sometime in the past before the story started, and I'll write you at least a hundred words of what happened then, whether it's five minutes before the story started or ten years in the future.
Dust and Water are included, although, hi, I'm not giving you the end of Dust, that's the only thing that's off the list.

Date: 2009-03-27 03:06 am (UTC)(Speaking of, do you have any objection to my absconding with your Narniaverse geography and bits of timeline? Because a plot bunny has bit, said bunny being the various and sundry attempts to get the White Witch off Narnia's throne. The solid bits so far are, one, one of the attempts came from Archenland, to the winner go the spoils, Archenland doesn't get conquered and Narnia doesn't get hungry and Jadis doesn't get deposed so it's a win-win-win, and two, another attempt came from Lasci's spare heir and half its army, and that attempt was quashed by Lasci's primary heir and the other half Lasci's army, this being important to why Lasci is so disorganized come the Pevensies' reign. And if you'd rather I not write in your take on Narniaverse, feel free to use the bits above.)

Date: 2009-03-27 03:41 am (UTC)If you're interested in the specific geography, Lasci is the northernmost of the countries on Narnia's western border, inched up against the High Reaches and the western part of Ettinsmoor. South of that is the country of Belgarion, and sandwiched between Belgarion and Natare is the teetiny country of Ransky, then Natare, a finger of Shoushan (which extends far to the west; it's the only country that's still around come Dust, albeit as the Lesser and Greater Shoushan Empires), then Telmar, which also borders Archenland. And for kicks, I just realized I have no real idea what the western geography of Narnia is. *facepalm*

Date: 2009-03-27 08:15 pm (UTC)Susan takes the watch from Peter's hand and sets it back on the counter. "Sorry, honey," she says, brightly cheerful. "I think that's a bit beyond our budget."
"Force of habit," Peter tells her, smiling his still-brilliant smile at the saleswoman behind the counter. "Lovely piece, though. What's the price?"
"Far too much," Susan says, pulling him away. "We're here for clothes, not to case the joint. And we're retired."
Peter grabs a dress at random off a rack and tugs her into a dressing room. "We'll get out of practice, then," he says.
Susan pushes the dress away. "This is three sizes too big," she says, and Peter laughs and kisses her.
