And I am back in New Orleans! Where it is currently sixty-three degrees, which a week ago I would have found absolutely freezing cold but which is a good twenty degrees warmer than back in Washington! That's the good thing about spring break; it allows you to remember why you chose to go to a university two thousand miles away from home: because it is warm and sunny more than two days out of the year. (I am exaggerating. Slightly.)

Date: 2009-03-30 09:16 pm (UTC)Also, OMG what am I going to write? *flails* I have only the vaguest idea of what you're getting at, and I halfway want it to be Peter being all prophetic and SEEING what the Calormenes are doing/going to do to Narnia.
This sudden complete unsurety could be the result of the bronchitis I apparently caught from my sister. *dies*

Date: 2009-03-31 06:32 am (UTC)My idea was that Peter was dreaming about the Dying Times, when the invading armies burned the forests rather than march through them and die horrible deaths -- the Calormenes never burned the forests, either in canon or in Dust; they used them for lumber.
Don't die! Death is bad! Get better!
Oh, god, it's one thirty in the morning and I have a 9:30 class tomorrow. GOD.
