Thailand announces state of emergency in capital.
The good news is that I think my dad may have already left Thailand, though I'm not sure -- he's supposed to arrive back in the States tomorrow. Well, today. Look, I'm still awake, today feels like tomorrow. Easter day, anyway. Not that they've shut down the airport again.
I am -- kind of ambivalent on my father coming home, but I suppose the good news on that front is that he'll have reacclimated by the time that I get home a month from now. (This is on a list of things I do not think about because I don't like the implications.) Let me just say that there is an excellent reason I went to school two thousand miles away from Ellensburg, and while I love my parents, I don't actually tend to miss them (or my friends) when I'm at Tulane. (My house, yes. My books, yes. The general atmosphere of Ellensburg, yes, up until the point when I actually go home. My band, yes. My high school, sometimes. God, I'm such a mindtrip.)
