well, at least I'm not depressed anymore

Okay, I definitely had a fever last night, lovely. And a headache, and chills; I was in sweats and I was shivering. I was really hoping to be able to sleep without the benefit of drugs, but no dice; the Ibuprofen helped a lot. If I take more than six in 24 hours, my head isn't going to explode, is it? Because I'm reasonably sure I already have a temperature and I can feel the headache coming back, and I have at least two classes I have to go to today (I'm already skipping Natural Disasters, which is, uh, now). I may ask my Japanese prof if I can only stay until we get the new kanji, depending on how I feel then. I could probably do the same with my Ancient Novel prof.

You know, I would love to skip all my classes today and just hang out in my room watching LWW in a feverish haze (for some reason, I've wanted to rewatch LWW for a while now -- not PC so much, LWW), but no. No, I have homework due Thursday, a paper due Friday (I wonder if, "PLEASE may I have an extension, I have a fever, enough homework to sink a ship, and a band concert?" is an appropriate excuse to go to with my Victorianism prof?), band dress rehearsal tomorrow, and a band concert Thursday. And another paper due, I think, Monday, and three separate sets of homework due Tuesday (one of which is a paper). And homework due today for both Japanese and Ancient Novel; Ancient Novel is a rough draft of a paper that's done except for the conclusion.

At least I suppose anything I write in a feverish haze is going to be interesting. Speaking of, is anyone up for betaing fic? I'm not writing it in a feverish haze, I swear; it's been finished for a week now and I'm just now getting around to typing it up. It's Narnia, Golden Age, Peter/Susan, fallout from the swan princess incident, and deals with the Royal Guard. Edmund also appears. Also, porn.

You should be fine with that amount of ibuprofen if you have a fever. Just take it with food or milk, because lot can upset your stomach.

Do you think? I mean, I'm sure anything written in a feverish haze would be interesting, I'm just not sure it's going to be any kind of coherent. And the thing is that the prof already offered up an extension -- it was supposed to be due last Friday and he changed it for the whole class because his two classes are both smaller than he thought they were going to be -- so I should already have it done, but I kind of have all of a paragraph written. A crappy paragraph. And some research.

You can at least offer up your reasons and ask. And you don't have the advantage that the other students do, of having the same extension but not being in a feverish haze during it.

Because it's an honors class and therefore we would all rather shoot ourselves in the head than miss class. *twitches*
