*considers family, in terms of the Bardverse* Well, I got the "family involved with wise guys" part right, although probably not the same way CBS is doing it, which is good. I see they did not, indeed, go the way of his coming from a cop family, unlike I did. My Messer family is special. They all want to kill each other. Well, I mean, Ned doesn't want to kill all his kids but Danny. The other ones he's proud of. Danny, not so much. And Angela's already dead, and Val would be very happy to put Ned's head on a pike and hang it outside the door of his townhouse, right next to the pretty flags from Omerta.
*crosses fingers* CBS, please don't be stupid. Please, please, please don't do anything stupid and play this well. Please. Otherwise I'll write - actually, I can't actually write anything worse than Bloody Sunday, so just please play this well.
