music! begins with an m!
May. 27th, 2009 11:49 amSnagged from
lassiterfics, who gave me the letter M, probably not realizing how many songs I have that I like that begin with the letter M.
I thought about doing accompanying fic, but apparently not. (And a chunk of the songs I probably would have put on here are not, because they are iTunes protected or something along those lines.)
1. Mad Mission, Patty Griffin.
every single eye was gleaming / as he reached the final scene / well, at least mine did / here's lookin' at you, kid
2. March of Cambreadth, Heather Alexander.
midnight mare and blood-red roan / fight to keep this land your own / sound the horn and call the cry / how many of them can we make die
3. Mo Ghile Mear, Celtic Woman.
can you feel the river run? / waves are dancing to the sun / take the tide and face the sea / and find a way to follow me
4. More Love, Dixie Chicks.
just look out around us / people fightin' their wars / they think they'll be happy / when they've settled their scores
5. More Than This, Vanessa Carlton.
let's make this our story / let's live in the glory / time, it fades away, precious as a song / 'cause someday we'll be gone
Fun extra credit game: three of these songs are on my Dust playlist. Two of these songs are on my (general) Narnia playlist (which is largely, but not completely, instrumental). One of these songs is not on any playlist. But which is which? (Hint: one song overlaps.)
And if you want a letter, drop me a line!
