Classes for Spring 2010 are starting to go up! And there are actually English classes I want to take next semester! Like Victorian Studies, and Spenser, and -- I actually never want to touch Milton again, but Spenser! I have never read Spenser. And Medieval Europe, and Ancient Slavery and Society, and unfortunately Crime and Punishment in Hanoverian England is a 600-level, so I'm not touching that, but there are a fair number of Classics classes that look really interesting too, like Rome in Egypt (or possibly Egypt in the Roman Empire? I don't remember) and Hellenism in Rome, and so on.
Also, there is a professor named Joe Poe, which amuses me, and an English prof whose last name is "Letter."
And you know what I don't have to take? JAPANESE. EVER AGAIN. If...I pass this semester, that is.
And...you know what I forgot that you would not think it would actually be possible to forget? I...I forgot that Dust was 150K. For some reason I thought it was only, like, 50K, or maybe 70K, tops.
Yeah, no.
I'm not sure exactly how I forgot writing A HUNDRED AND FIFTY THOUSAND WORDS OF NARNIA AU, but apparently I did. Or forgot writing 100K of it, anyway. My life is somewhat distressing sometimes.
In other news, I am on fall break. We don't get Veterans Day or Presidents Day or other federal holidays off, but we get fall break, dammit! (New this year! Copycatting Loyola!)
