You know, I've posted before about how Tarzan was probably the single biggest influence on my youth that didn't come out of Greek mythology, and I was reading this article with one hell of a lot of happy nostalgia until this gem:

These books are clearly for men. I have yet to meet a woman who found Tarzan interesting: no identification, as they say in series-land.
