yes, it is finals week, why do you ask?
Dec. 6th, 2009 10:40 amHuh. Maybe I can get myself to write my paper (Ruth Hall, the question of identity, must stretch to five-six pages double-spaced) if I tell myself I can write Dust afterwards.
(Guys, you...have no idea how nervous it makes me that Dust is even up in the air (um, pun not intended) again, because of the wreck that happened last time I tried this chapter. I am trying to trick myself into writing fic I desperately want to write.)
Also, I am kind of loving The Ruin of the Roman Empire, except I'm not sure I'll have time to finish it before I fly home and the library back home doesn't have it. I could always buy it! ...I will consider this option after I have sold back my textbooks.
Okay, paper.
I am also considering rereading all of Narnia when I get home, though I don't want to haul my copies cross-country -- I think the library has one of the omnibus editions, if not, I know they have multiple copies of the books. And I have them all on the iPod, though I think I'd prefer reading them.
ETA: Oh, hey, I just figured out that some of the religious imagery in Dust serves a Symbolic Purpose that I never thought about before. Okay, paper, seriously.
