Dec. 12th, 2009 10:47 amThree finals down, one to go. Sadly, the last one is Japanese, which should just go swimmingly. /sarcasm
I am just -- not thinking about the study abroad problem at all, because I can't worry about that and worry about finals at the same time. I will worry about that after finals, in that lovely space I have between the end of my Japanese final and when I can finally get on a plane to fly back to Washington. (Please, dear gods, let me not be twenty-four hours in transit again. THAT IS ALL I ASK. If you will not let me go home two days early, just please don't let me spend twelve hours waiting around in various airports, cancel my flight, miss my connecting flight, and have the Pass be closed. Just. Let. It. Go. SMOOTHLY. Also, if you could warm up New Orleans and stop this pesky Seattle-esque rain? That'd be peachy too.)
Things that make me sad: I could not cite fandom and/or my job in my GESS final. Man, that would have made it easier, even if it might have confused my prof.
Oh, God, must study Japanese. Do not want. Will possibly take a few hours off and try and knit up a winter hat to wear home, since it will be approximately negative eleventy-billion degrees in Washington, opposed to the frigid fifty it is in New Orleans. (I have leather gloves and a narrow scarf made out of about 3/4 skein of left over Noro Silk Garden, and handknitted wool socks (Colinette Jitterbug, colorway blue parrot), but no hat. I mean, I'd like a thicker scarf too, but the hat is more likely to happen in the next few days.)
But I can sell back my textbooks! Only it's not like I'll get much for them, since English books sell back for about a buck-fifty if you're lucky.
