bedlamsbardI would start with a joke about knowing I'm in Seattle because it's raining, but then again, I just left Louisiana with her record amount of rain for a month halfway through the month.
You know, the bad news about having free wifi at all these airports (I suddenly love traveling during the holidays: they want to be nice to you) is that I haven't gotten any of Dust 18 done. Okay, that's a lie. I got 220 words written. I hate them a lot.
Also, I have noticed that I commonly start a lot of chapters/stories by talking about rain. My version of "It was a dark and stormy night"? (This is, by the way, how we got the neverending rainstorms in Dust. I just started one chapter talking about rain. You know, as I do.)
Right. I think I'll erase those 220 words and start with...fog. Because there was some really intense fog in New Orleans Sunday and Monday.
