*twitches* I have just written five stanzas of Spenserian style allegory. It took me two hours. I had to color-code. And then I added commentary. And academic argument. (The lost eighth canto "The Legend of Palladine, or, Of Loyaltie!" Or another missing part of the unfinished Canto VII!)
I think my brain is dead.
(Look, it is sort of like writing fic for class, right? Except I had to do it IN STYLE. Gods, I could have done Theocritan idylls more easily than this. I think I could have done Shakespeare more easily than this.)
(Palladine (appears once in the actual book, III.vi.52), in my head, is awesome, by the way. She's also either bi or a lesbian. This is why I could only write five stanzas and an argument; Spenser would never have agreed!)
