There are Fen in my Spenser class. However, they are not LJ/DW fen; I know this because one of them used the word "fanfiction", but referred to fanfiction.net as The Fic Site (guys, ff.net is the Pit of Voles, no one goes there to read good fic!) and didn't appear to get my Yuletide reference. I was trying for sneaky, folks! The other one -- I don't think he got the Yuletide ref either.

I resisted the urge to grab them and shake them and go, "Don't worry! You can go beyond the Pit! IT'S ALL RIGHT THERE'S MORE IN THE WORLD," but only because we were still in class. *weeps sadly for the future of fandom*
