I'm in the process of migratign and well, I'm weirded out by it in some ways. I've been on LJ since 2000!

I know! I've been on since -- 2004 or 2005, I think, so not as long as you, but a significant portion of my life! But I really do prefer DW than LJ, and that's not even counting some of the crap LJ's pulled over the past few years.

but... but... it's still LJ. :P Also, the dog communities here are DEAD. I don't think that's necessarily bad- I'm sort of thinking about making a fic journal on here and keeping my fandom and dog (professional) stuff separate.

I am having trouble NOT borrowing your fanon for my own AU. :P I'm about to resort to making it gen or something. Except it still wants to have Pevensiecest. And some of your stuff (warsverse, particularly) is so LOGICAL and REASONABLE that it's "Oh, that TOTALLY REALLY HAPPENED" (flooding, wars, etc. :P ) I also need to find my copies of the books though so I can remember which places you've made up and which were canon so I'm borrowing from the correct source. :P
