You know the disadvantage to having your dorm room right across the hall from the laundry room? The top dryer has spontaneously developed a squeaking problem, and it has advanced from little tiny squeaks to SQUEALS OF DEATH.

*twitches* I don't even have anything done on my paper yet!

ETA: I just realized that (a) I have three (well, two now) Lindor truffles remaining when I thought I only had just one and (b) that I have a meeting at 5:30 that I had completely forgotten about.

Fortunately I remembered the meeting at 5:20.

The dryer appears to have stopped, but I am now blasting Sugarland, so I can't hear anything else anyway. (Yes, I am a country music fan.) And I don't even bother saving things to my hard drive anymore; this is why flashdrives and external hard drives were invented!

Gasp! Country music! I use Dropbox, because it saves my files both on my computer and online (what if the external hard drive or USB drive got fried?), but only for things I actually care about, like NaNoWriMo and academic stuff. Stuff I wouldn't care if it gets erased (like, er, most of my fic) I just toss somewhere on Steve (my computer).

I have to print everything in the library anyway, so it makes sense to save it on my flashdrive because then I can just take it over there pretty easily.
