I sincerely doubt they had show choir in WWII-era public school in England, but thinking about Glee now has me contemplating Edmund (!) in show choir post-Narnia.

The scary thing is that I'm not even thinking about whacky AUs.

I have no words, just the facial expression that most clearly shows, "What the fucking fuck, Bed?"

They had glee clubs in England in that era; at any rate, there is a glee club at Cambridge(?) at the beginning of "Chariots of Fire" which is set in the 1920s. But less with the wackiness and more with the slightly more wholesome singalong vibe.

The funny thing was that despite being heavily involved in music throughout middle school and high school, I had never heard of glee or show choir before last year.

Fortunately I do not know enough about the British school system to write shenanigans.
