bedlamsbardThere is a wave of [insert fandom trope here]_bingos across the board lately, I see. I'm not signed up for anything because, well, I don't write a lot of porn, and I don't write a lot of schmoop, and I don't write a lot of hurt/comfort, and I don't write much deathfic.
Now, if I ever had to design and mod a bingo specifically catered to my writing predilections, I would have to do an action_bingo. (Or possibly a gen_bingo, since there aren't that many action writers in fandom, at least that I've noticed.) It could include things like "pirates - space" and "pirates - sea" and "bank robbery" and "prison break" and "night raid" and "ambush" and "hand-to-hand - karate" and "rooftop chase" and "vampires" and "snipers" and "siege warfare - ancient/classical" and "siege warfare - Middle Ages" and "siege warfare - Renaissance" and "rebels" and "animals." And it would be AWESOME.
Anyway, I have no interest in designing, organizing, or modding a fic bingo, so the concept remains theoretical. But there's a bingo I could really get behind. (Possibly no one else, though.)
