So weird to think I'm going back to school tomorrow. *shakes head* I have mended up my Ravelry Bob chasing yarn tote bag (the construction is really flimsy, and it's the same one that developed a hole early in the semester, but since I don't live on campus I can't really just use my (new!) purse for a schoolbag and dash back to my dorm between classes to switch out books. The Ravelry bag is really big and the straps actually sit comfortably on my shoulder, which is a relief), dug out a few unused notebooks (one free Tulane one, one Wellesley one that I haven't used in the three years since I bought it), packed my textbooks (the Latin one and the geology one -- I probably won't actually need to bring the geology one to class, but I'll do so on the first day just in case), tucked in pens and pencils (I left everything useful back in New Orleans, because I am an idiot; at least I can buy pencil lead and erasers in Ellensburg and I have approximately a million of my favorite kind of mechanical pencil lurking around my house), made sure my wallet, Altoids, and ID case are in the bag, and am now charging my phone. Oh, and I'll have to throw in a book for pleasure reading, since my schedule involves sitting around for a while.
Will hopefully get Dust 20 finished and sent to beta tonight, although I don't really bet on it. I wanted it up before classes started, but that's looking unlikely.
