Jul. 15th, 2010 06:30 pmI hate people, guys, I hate people. I am very glad that I am taking a short summer term at a university that is not my home university, because I think if I had to put up with another two or three of years of Latin with that guy, things would end badly. Bastard laughed at me when I messed up a translation. (And not at anyone else: I am one of two people who doesn't consistently mess up translations. He is not the other one.)
Like I said: I hate people.
Like I said: I hate people.

Date: 2010-07-16 02:58 am (UTC)It was, sadly, not hilarious. It was some sentence about "in the time of our fathers, the farmers of your land were having great virtue", and I hadn't quite connected the "patrum" with the "in temporibus", for the excellent reason that we haven't actually learned pater yet. *sniffs*
