I really like this jewelry collection, and have been stalking this pendant on Amazon for a while now. (It's also on Bob Siemon's website, but it's more expensive there.) But there are designs in pewter! Which are significantly cheaper! (A note: this is the same guy that does a lot of Christian jewelry, which is also up on his website. Including "True Love Waits" designs.)

Also, randomly but relatedly, I have been reading the Prose Edda from class, and y'all, as if the bit about Fenris Ulf and the World Ash Tree were not enough, sometimes it becomes really obvious what C.S. Lewis's academic field was. (Also Tolkien's, but that's significantly more obvious.) Well, okay, maybe it's not that obvious, but there is this line (following the death of the gods and the destruction of the world in Ragnarok, and the rebirth of the world and the time of the new gods): Then they will find in the grass the gold playing pieces which the Ӕsir had owned.
Does that sound familiar to anyone? Anyone? Okay, just me then. (GOLD PLAYING PIECES. Like, say -- gold chess pieces? Only, like, ancient Scandinavian and stuff.)
Reading about religion always makes me want to write Dust. However, I have no brain for writing right now.
Definitely not related: OMG SIMBA AND MUFASA.
