bedlamsbard: natasha romanoff from the black widow prelude comic (come back to narnia (boredess))

So, I have been thinking for a while that I should post some of the fic that is highly unlikely to ever be finished (for various reasons). Therefore, a poll! Most of these are beneath 2K, except for Old Timber, which is 15K, and Must Be Tuesday and Bad Moon Rising, which are two versions of the same story (Bad Moon Rising has a different opening scene); if something comes up the highest that isn't one of those two, I'll probably post two of them.

All that blood spent, and for this, for only the fading echo of a memory of a memory to remain, the hardwon borders of Narnia washed away by war and time and that cruel bitch fortune. (A Legend's Not a Legend Till It Ends)

“My lover, my bodyguard – just about the only people left who can betray me tonight are my siblings and my advisers.” (Must Be Tuesday/Bad Moon Rising)

“Your brother isn’t going to make it here in time to save you.” (How High the River Rises)

“I told you we shouldn’t accept gifts from the angry families of your jilted fiancées.” (Old Timber to New Fires)

"And here I’d been reconciling myself with the thought that at least his majesty’s not at all interested in women, but this is just adding insult to injury now." (Over the Hills and Far Away)

This poll is closed.

3 (15.0%)

Must Be Tuesday/Bad Moon Rising (Edmund and Peter, assassination attempt (multiple versions))
6 (30.0%)

How High the River Rises (Susan, killing people)
3 (15.0%)

Old Timber to New Fires (Caspian in the Golden Age, 15K)
6 (30.0%)

Over the Hills and Far Away (Fiorenza di Paolucci, other OCs)
2 (10.0%)

Fic that is not on this list includes "Be Like Water" (girl!Peter AU of PC), "Till Human Voices Wake Us" (Peter in the Caves of Angrisla), and "These Far-Flung Battle Lines" (Narnia/James Bond crossover). I also have two fics that are active WIPs; obviously they are not also on this list.

oh man, I want Over the Hills and Far Away AND Must Be Tuesday so badly. But I had to go with Fiorenza, because FIORENZA.

I will admit that I would like to see all of these. :) Even if just in snippet form.

Oh and I should finish that Peter/Caspian thing I started too. Only, I think it wants to be much longer.

Man, I debated forever between Old Timber and Tuesday. Finally went with Timber but I would totally be thrilled with either. Or, y'know, ANY of these!

So, so hard to choose! I was torn between several of them and mostly it was a tossup between "A Legend's Not a Legend..." and "Old Timber..." (Time Travelling Caspian!) And then there was your "Over the Hills" teaser! That one line hooked me in!

But I think I would love whatever you decide to put up.

starlady: Queen Susan of Narnia, called the Gentle and the Queen of Spring (gentle queen how now)

That should not have been a radio button, because I could not vote for the assassination attempt and Susan killing people simultaneously.

starlady: King Edmund the Just of Narnia, called the King of Evening & the King of Shadows (it's king actually)

This makes me feel better about my actual vote.
