Packing. It's about as much fun as it sounds, which means if you think it sounds like I want to stab someone in the face right about now, you'd be right. I feel like I have too many clothes! I feel like I have not enough clothes! I tell my mother that I feel like I have too many clothes and my mother agrees with me! "Well, what should I not be taking then?" I ask, reasonably. "That's your decision," she says, which doesn't help at all.

ARGH. *head explodes* Someone tell me what clothes I SHOULDN'T bring.

ETA: Okay. I have three occasions on which I need to dress up (sort of -- my program says "smart attire, jacket and tie for men, skirt/dress or smart trousers for women"). Can I wear the same dress for all of them or should I bring two dresses? (I actually had three, but one is really casual and I think I'm going to pull it out of the suitcase because I don't wear dresses that often.)

If I were you, I'd take a skirt with two or three different suitable tops. Advantage of that is that if you look around and decide things aren't as formal as you thought, you can dress it down with a different top.

I thought of that too, but I ended up not doing so. Although I'm not sure why. *hands* Am already at the airport, so, oh well. They're not terribly formal dresses, anyway; I just assumed "smart attire" meant roughly the same thing as "business casual" and went from there.
