I really, really want to be asleep right now. Like, I think the jetlag is actually getting substantially worse, because yesterday I got a whole three hours of sleep before I woke up, bummed around on the Internet for an hour, and went back to sleep, and the day before I got, I think, four? Maybe two. Anyway, today it was one and a half, only I haven't been able to get back to sleep. So, yeah, I went to bed at eleven and woke up at twelve-thirty, and now it's 3:45, and I've been in and out of bed since, without any actual sleep involved. Also, I keep having to get up every half hour to pee, probably because I keep guzzling water because apparently England's method of welcome is a sore throat and what seems suspiciously like pre-cold symptoms and also some lovely drymouth. Ugh. Tomorrow I'll go get NyQuil or Advil PM or whatever the UK equivalent is, because this is ridiculous and I just want to sleep, okay? Also I want the sore throat and pre-cold symptoms to go away.

Also the bed is really horrible, so that doesn't help. Unfortunately the time difference is such that the exact time I'm getting up is the time when I usually go to bed back home, which at least explains why I only got an hour and a half of sleep today -- back home, on the rare occasions I nap, that's about the amount of time I nap for and it's almost always that time of day or a few hours later. I've never gotten jetlag this bad before; usually when I go to Japan (which, I know, is in the opposite direction) I'll have maybe one day of waking up early, but after that I'll be fine. So this is actually really unexpected.

Ugh. I'VE BEEN UP FOR FOUR HOURS, LET'S TRY AND SLEEP BEFORE I HAVE CLASS.
