Jul. 22nd, 2011 10:03 pmOH MY GOD. IT'S LIKE A TERRIBLE CASE OF DEJA VU WHERE ALL THE MEMBERS OF MY PROGRAM DECIDE TO GET DRUNK AND NOISY RIGHT OUTSIDE MY DOOR.
I keep thinking, "Oh, I should get up and yell at them to shut the fuck up," but then I suddenly think that the sound is fading and they have decided to go away! But then they don't! And then I think that it would be way too strange to yell at them when they've been doing the same thing for the past hour!
Also they don't realize I am in my room or indeed, that my room is occupied. Given that one of the conversations I overheard was, "Oh, who's in room [redacted]?" "No one." NO. I AM IN THIS ROOM AND I CAN HEAR YOU AND ALSO I WANT TO BRING THE SMACK DOWN. The room next to me is empty, I live across from the kitchen, and everyone has decided to congregate in one of the two. I think the reason the sound keeps fading is because they close the door to one of them.
...please let them be going. I also really want to take a shower, but I can't go out into the hall because THEY ARE OUT THERE, and I can't watch my show because my door isn't locked and I was suddenly afraid that they would TRY TO COME IN.
...I think they've actually gone. I think the plan is to...go out dancing? I DON'T CARE. THEY'RE GONE.

Date: 2011-07-22 09:37 pm (UTC)When I was in Sweden, my roommate would have like 15 people over to get drunk without telling me. (We were not on good terms.) So I spent a lot of time in my room, hiding from the monkeys. Of course I garnered a reputation for this, but I didn't care. It meant not having to deal with the fucking monkeys.
Now I'm having flashbacks of the anger and anxiety that situation caused. I am so sorry, K.
