So today has totally been one of those days where I'm done with class at eleven, but by eight pm have only accomplished two things when I need to have accomplished six. Um, whoops? Somehow I do not think that my Greek Art & Archaeology professor will accept 800 words on Helo's post-Caprica PTSD instead of my paper on dating pre- and post-Persian sculpture on the Akropolis in order to determine whether the Severe Style pre- or post- dates the Persian Wars, even if they are about the same page-length. (But at least I read the article, and the paper's a pretty straight-forward analysis type thing. I am also translating some Livy and reading a book called Pen Portraits of Illustrious Castilians, which I suspect will be hilarious once I get past the introduction. Also, once I eat enough food that my hands stop shaking. My self-preservation instincts, they kind of suck.)
Also, for some reason? Tigh, really easy to get his voice down, at least from a different POV. Been a while since I was writing for a fandom I'm actively consuming, especially in a medium where I can hear the character's voice. (Or, you know, one where I actually check up on the canon once in a while.)
Of course, it would help if I stopped accidentally spoiling myself while googling to check canon. IT'S REALLY IRRITATING OKAY. (I mean, my fault writing a closed canon that I haven't finished yet, but still! Really irritating.)
Okay. Homework. The Akropolis. You know. Then the Castilians. Enough so that I can fake an abstract tomorrow, anyway.
