bedlamsbard: natasha romanoff from the black widow prelude comic (bloody sunday w/ blood)

1. Bloody Sunday is the Bardverse Infinite Crisis (DC fans, you know what I'm talking about here), more or less.

2. After Bloody Sunday, it pretty much becomes CSI:NY: Supernatural, beginning with the Halloween story, which may or may not actually take place on Halloween (Bloody Sunday is supposed to be Christmas/New Year's-ish and There But For the Grace of God begins on April 1st, which either leaves a gap of more than a year -- entirely possible given the state of the characters at the end of BS -- or a gap of about four months, which may or may not be possible) and more or less opens the gate between worlds, leading to fun stuff like ghosts and the multiverse and magic/comics-ish stuff.

3. Yes. Aiden is haunting the lab, although haunting is actually kind of an interesting choice of words. She didn't die there, but she is still attached to the lab and the members of CSU, so she hangs around for the heck of it and interprets between the ghosts of the city and CSU. Danny has the closest connection to her and some of the other, older members of CSU can see and communicate with her (Flack, Stella, Mac), but she takes a perverse pleasure in tormenting Lindsay. Aiden also does still consider herself a cop, and acts accordingly.

4. The multiverse and the Inhumans existed before the barrier between worlds was breached, as that was more magic-y and the multiverse was science.

5. After Bloody Sunday, the crime lab was considered a real loose cannon by the brass, but they're so scary they're not sure exactly what to do with them. I mean, you can't fire the people that got the lab a million dollar donation signed by the Mafia Commission. They become even weirder after the Halloween story (which has a name that I just remembered -- City of Ghosts) and after There But for the Grace of God, the NYPD quietly goes around setting up another crime lab and designates "our" CSU to deal with "weird cases."

6. Along with becoming a loose cannon, the Crime Lab runs on a very loose set of rules. Mac Is In Charge, but beyond that they don't particularly answer very much to the NYPD (take a look at the MHIU in the Tomorrow-verse -- that's how the Crime Lab begins to operate). Danny and Flack especially (along with Aiden) work outside the defines of the law, usually hand in hand with Val and the Commission. Or in Flack's case, hand in hook.

7. Yes, the Inhumans are important.

8. The post-BS stuff is me losing my patience and going off to play in the worlds I'm used to.

9. Bloody Sunday is stressful to write, because it's all this stuff, which is why I've been avoiding it and working on original fic and the post-BS stuff.

10. Yes, Flack lost a hand in Bloody Sunday.
