I AM WRITING THE SAME DAMN STORY IN TWO COMPLETELY UNRELATED FANDOMS. *facepalm* (And perhaps more relevantly, I was trying to figure out how to make an original out of it before I figured out that I had already written it TWICE.)
Well, I guess they do say that every writer tells the same story over and over again, it's just how they tell it that's different. Still. I can't believe that these stories have been done/in progress/in limbo for four-almost-five years and it took me this long to figure it out. I knew I had themes carried over from SW to Narnia; a lot of my families have similar themes. I JUST DIDN'T REALIZE I WROTE THE SAME DAMN STORY. (For varying definitions of "the same"; theme and set-up, I think.)
Not that anyone else cares or possibly can tell. Just me over here, flipping out a little over how oblivious I am! Not that Dust and What is Lost are probably actually that similar outside my own head.
*headtilt* Okay, so what is this story I'm trying to tell over and over again?
