I have a bachelor's degree and a diploma: I also hate everything. (Well, not my friends, my school, my city, or my professors. Everything else. I also enjoyed the ceremony, up until the point when it ended and I had to deal with my family.)

Have I mentioned I hate everything? Also I was walking back through campus sobbing (in the dark thankfully) and apparently looked so bad that several different people asked me if I was all right. NO. I HATE EVERYTHING. I AM NOT OKAY WITH THIS.

Okay, the diploma's kind of cool.

I'm so sorry. It's amazing how family can bring out the worst in us!! I am truly sorry it's all so awful right now.

They're not even doing anything except not being familiar with New Orleans/not moving fast enough/not doing what I want/etc. I'm just awful, I guess.

this is a question i don't ask very often. have you considered going to talk to a head doctor this summer before you leave for grad school? one who can teach you how to handle stress better? because that may be a good thing.

I don't think I'd be comfortable doing it in my hometown. (Also, my parents probably would not approve. Or pay.) I really should have done so when I was still at Tulane, but alas...
