*headshake* I don't know why Dust is always so clear to me when I get home -- maybe it's because I don't have a bunch of other stuff fighting for precedence in my head. For the first time I think I can see all the way to the end of Dust Part II (in case you've forgotten, Dust is conceived of as being a three-part series/trilogy), which is still something like 9+ chapters out. It's a weird feeling -- almost like being in endgame (god, I love being in endgame on a story or a chapter, it's one of the most exhilarating feelings in the world, like anything can happen and you're just rushing wild and headlong to the end), but with the knowledge that I've still got at least 50K to go. Weird. But awesome. Not that this means the plot can't morph at this point, though. (I've got three major plot threads, and I need to make sure that they all climax more or less simultaneously. Hopefully I don't drop any balls while juggling: probably I will, I know I dropped some back in Dust I and don't really mind.)
In further Dust news: I started a Pinterest board for Dust inspiration, which might be of interest to someone besides me, if only because pretty pictures (and, yes, any recipes that make their way into Dust, including the risotto from Dust 28).
In further non-Dust news...no, sorry, I got nothing. I've been reading a lot of books and not doing much else. I need to work on my Latin and my Greek so I don't forget it.
