bedlamsbardI've found that a surprisingly effective way to deal with my anxiety re: walking around Leicester on my own is to silently chant, "I lived in New Orleans, Louisiana, motherfucker, YOU CAN'T SCARE ME. I've walked down Bourbon Street after dark! I rode out a tropical storm! I've walked through more drunk crowds in the Quarter than you can count! YOU CAN'T SCARE ME."
