So I've spent the past 48 hours staring at my right wrist, trying to decide if there's a lump on it or not -- it could just be bone, it feels like bone, and it might just be more prominent on my right wrist than on my left because that's my dominant hand. Maybe it's always this prominent! I don't know. It doesn't hurt when I press on it, it's not tender or anything, but it is the point where the pain's coming from when my wrist decides to hurt. I think. (It's a different kind of pain than the last time my wrist hurt. Joy.)
So this is fun. I'm trying to decide if I want to call the health center and set up an appointment. Why does my body suck, ugh.

I appear to have bought a basil plant today. Well, I wanted fresh basil and they didn't have any, but they did have herbs in planters, so I...bought one? I guess it was also cheaper than fresh basil would have been. And it's probably not a bad thing to have herb plants in my room. Maybe I will buy some more. I use a lot of thyme, and parsley's always nice to have around.

Tea is so great.

Still prodding thoughtfully at modern!Narnia (codenamed Revelations). It's grown two more subplots, partially as a result of watching waaaaaaay too much Spooks. There's a possibility it could grow a fourth subplot, if I wanted to actual do it as a Narnia fic as opposed to engaging in the mental gymnastics that would result in it becoming an original instead. (I think it's sometimes way underrated how much mindset affects writing fiction.) I might post the (mostly) non-Dust-spoilery parts of it I've written later. Revelations is basically what you get when you cross Narnia over with Caprica, Spooks, The Hobbit, Rivers of London, the Inheritance Trilogy, WWII, and probably a dozen other things I've read or watched in the past few years. Revelations also has a character who I like to describe as the bastard child of Thorin Oakenshield and Sarah Connor, which is now a pairing I really kind of want in a horrible way.

Date: 2013-04-07 11:11 pm (UTC)If it is a lump, ganglion cysts are one of the most common obnoxious wrist lump problems that exist, and will often take care of themselves on their own. I had one, and it did contribute to me stopping the violin, but being in first grade and not happy with this contributed more.

Thanks.
