Apr. 9th, 2013 11:22 pmDropped the ball with recs last week, alas. This week's round-up will include last week's sets. Today is the UK release of The Hobbit on DVD and Blu-Ray! Today I walked into Morrisons and Martin Freeman's face was -- well, not everywhere, but in an awful lot of places. So that was delightful!
On that note, today's theme is a slightly loose interpretation of the movie, so it's largely group shots.

I wanted to add Bilbo on his own but, believe it or not, I only have one piece that has a solo Bilbo in it and I've already recced it. Besides the big group pieces, I have a few that have Bilbo with other people -- usually various dwarves or hobbits -- but only the one with Bilbo on his own. I dunno if that's because I hang out in the wrong art circles in the fandom or if everyone in the fandom is way more into dwarves than hobbits. (I suspect more the first one, since I also sidestep a lot of pairing art, and I'm pretty sure there's a lot more ship art than what I've seen (minus the Durincest, which tends to show up on the dwarf-focused art blogs.)
I think this is also the first time I've had an all Deviantart rec set, though most of these I originally found on Tumblr, if I remember correctly.
