I cut my hair!
Before

After

I went to a fancy-ass hair salon, which I chose partly because it's the closest to me (I walk past it every time I go into city centre) and mostly because they let you book online and thus I didn't need to talk to an actual human being while making an appointment. Also because I have never been to a super-fancy hair salon; the last couple times I got my hair cut it was in the back of this lady's converted garage for about ten bucks. (Which I said, and which I think kind of shocked the nice people at Barrie Stephen Hair.) Let me tell you, it is a big difference going from that to this. (Also because my stylist actually spoke English. Being able to say what you want does help.) They kept offering me tea and coffee and drinks and so on, which is a first for me. And my hair feels amazing, omg.
It's funny, I keep running my hands through it and going, "But it's so short!" even though it isn't actually that short (it's about bra strap length; I had about, hmm, 6+ inches taken off?). But it's so light! Crazy.
Also, oof, every time I look at pictures of my room I start thinking, "Man, I gotta get some posters up, it looks so bare." (I've got stuff up on the corkboard on the other wall, but that's never the one you see in pictures.)
