bedlamsbardI finished my dissertation! I turned in my dissertation! I discovered another cocktail that I like a lot, which puts the count up to two! I simultaneously overpacked AND underpacked! I moved countries! Flying business class is really nice! Moving countries is really awful!
In other news, I finished my MA work and moved back to the States; I got back on Friday after a packing nightmare that I won't go into here. My dad was supposed to come back from Thailand on the same day, but he actually got the date of his return flight wrong, so he's still in Thailand -- which is kind of nice, as I like it just being me and my mom.
Y'all are saved from a detailed post expounding on the nightmare my packing/moving situation was because I just don't want to relive it again. I did splurge on an a slightly upgraded plane ticket for my flight from Heathrow to Sea-Tac, and OH MAN, I don't know if I'll ever be able to fly coach again. Especially for a freaking nine hour flight.
(Also, did I ever actually say what my dissertation was on?)

I kind of want to do a Teen Wolf post -- I watched all of Teen Wolf in about six days -- but I'm not sure if I have anything more coherent to say than "I'm confused and appalled, alternately by the canon, the fanon, and the fandom, and yet I also really liked it? I'M SO CONFUSED. AND APPALLED. AND CONFUSED. ALSO LYDIA MY QUEEN HOW IS THIS SHOW NOT ABOUT HER OH YEAH TEEN WOLF."
