Jan. 31st, 2015 12:10 pmBeing in graduate school is weird because all your friends in the same age range have jobs and families and their own businesses and stuff and I'm like, "Yeah, last week I cried over my Greek homework and then stayed up till three am writing a paper and binge-watching Food Network shows," which is indistinguishable from how I spent most of undergrad.
ETA: The even weirder part is that most people seem really impressed by the whole graduate school thing (let alone the second MA thing), when I'm just like, "I didn't know what else to do so I stayed in school." HOW ARE YOU IMPRESSED BY ME, YOU HAVE YOUR OWN BUSINESS, YOU HAVE TO PAY TAXES.
