Also, six quirks:
1. I pick (or rip) the skin off my lips. It's a horrible habit. I almost always have chapped lips, so in order to not rip that skin off, I have to have lip cream on at almost all times. The exceptions are for eating and playing. I can't play flute or sax with lip cream on (I prefer Burt's Bees, for those that were wondering).
2. I am a very bad overachiever. Seriously. I don't think of myself as an overachiever at all and I don't act like one. Only I do. But I don't care about it. Except when I do. I do not make sense.
3. My comfort food is Kellogg's fruit snacks. Specifically, the Hello Kitty ones. All except orange. I don't like orange. Right now I have the Shrek ones and it makes me sad, because they don't taste the same.
4. I still sleep with stuffed animals. Three in specific: a medium size white bear named Papa Bear, and small fluffy polar bear named Gatorade (long story), and a small, much battered and abused pink bear named Pinky. *hugs* I have had Pinky for the past fifteen, almost sixteen now, years, and he looks like it. The pink is faded, the white is grayish, his eyes are chipped, and yeah, I still sleep with him. I like having stuffed animals in bed with me. It's something to put my arms around and hug and have fur in my face and...you know what, I'm a total girl here and I just lost my macho credit.
5. When I handwrite in a notebook, I colorcode by story: CSI:NY is pink (do not ask), Corinth is sky blue, post-apocalyptic Boston (again: do not ask) is dark blue, SCU:Boston is orange, and the New York stories are purple. It's a little messed up right now given the fact that I'm sort of running out of pens (so the pens I like can only be bought in Japan. Go figure), so it's currently running: CSI:NY black, Corinth blue, and New York purple.
6. When I need to write but can't think cohesively enough to write in pen in a notebook (it's just so permanent) I write in pencil on lined notebook paper. Mechanical pencil, 5.0; I do not use 7.0 or non-mechanical pencils, and I only use a certain brand of mechanical pencil. I have pages and pages of notebook paper scattered on my chest upstairs (which is, um, empty, but has a ton of stuff on top of it) and on my desk downstairs.
And my Supernatural DVDs arrived! And I'm playing tenor sax in Jazz I! (Long story. Will explain later. Suffice it to say we do not have enough people for two bands, but only one tenor and two baris, so.) And...perhaps school will not kill me after all.
