WHOA original short story idea, plot, theme, characters, setting -- heaven knows that doesn't happen all that often.

I am vaguely amused by the notion that if I didn't have these pesky graduation requirements, I could take a schedule next semester that consisted only of the following:

ANTH309: Magic, Witchcraft, and Religion
HISL420: History of Voodoo
HISU345: Salem Witchcraft

...okay, I thought there were more classes listed along the same lines, but still. It amuses me. Of course, I'm pretty easily amused.

I am the least Christian/Jewish/any people of the Book person ever, but OH MY GOD KINGS. (Look, I'm basically coming at this the same way I go at Narnia and Merlin: pretty royals, good chance it's going to end badly, but at least it'll be fun to watch!)

Okay, there is a thing, that I have seen in fandom a few times, about Susan getting into abusive relationships, and is this -- am I imagining it? Or does she really read as that type of personality?

My Susan -- once. She had a boyfriend who hit her once, and after that she sent him to the hospital with six broken bones. This wasn't Marcus Travison; Travison wasn't particularly the best choice ever, but he never hit Susan. My Susan actually had fairly decent taste in men, she just never stayed with any of them. Like the boy she was with, Riley, when the engine fell out of the plane Peter was test-flying. Decent chap, that; she made up some excuse to dump him and then ended up with the boyfriend who hit her. (And the reason Peter didn't break his neck was because Peter was still on crutches and recovering from surgery.) I mean, there was the boyfriend who cheated on Susan while she was there, but she kind of made up for that one.

...wow, I have that incident written out somewhere, I wonder where it is? It must be somewhere in my drawer with my other loose fic. *long pause* Found it! Now, did I stop in the middle of a scene or what? ...that'd be a yes. Although! It really has nowhere to go from there. Probably ends in Peter and Susan having a huge fight outside the bar and both of them storming away, completely pissed off.

Hmm, and here's some random Golden Age Peter/Susan and Peter&Susan too. Forgotten about that; I think I wrote this the last time I was home for break.

...you know, I could just post all the random bits of fic I have handwritten in various places. (Mind, this is not marginfic; I am not hunting all that crap down.) But there's a lot of Peter/Susan, and some Caspian in the Golden Age, and some Dust outtakes. Okay, who votes for this?
