Fringe: "Over There" parts 1 & 2

Holy shit, Fringe. *falls over* Um, is it September yet? I am ready for the next season!

*fans self* Two season finales down, more to go. I'm not sure I can deal. What do I have left -- Lost, Criminal Minds, Big Bang Theory (although I don't expect this one to kill me), Dancing With the Stars (may kill me if Evan "the Robot" Lysacek wins), um...I'm not sure what Glee's doing, but I have no emotional involvement in this show whatsoever and only watch it for the music and the fail. (Seriously, why couldn't I have watched Bones instead of Glee? I got nothin', guys, nothin' at all. I'm still not sure why I didn't keep up with Bones and Supernatural this season; time, I guess.) I need to catch up with Caprica, but that's running on a different schedule anyway. Most of my favorite shows got cancelled last season, so at least I don't have to freak out about that. (One on each network -- CBS, NBC, and FOX. I will rant about this to anyone who wants to hear.) Still have not watched any of Friday Night Lights S4, which just started airing but which I am already behind on. Must catch up with Lost and Caprica; preferably Lost over the next two days so I can watch the series finale live on Tuesday.

I don't know what it says about me that my hopes have never been high

New Voyage of the Dawn Treader display photos -- showing the White Witch (apparently only appearing in a dream sequence), Peter, Susan, Our Heroes, a minotaur, a faun, and who I'm guessing are Ramandu and Ramandu's Daughter. I cannot quite tell, without looking back at LWW, if Ramandu is holding the stone knife or not.

Just about the only thing I have to say about VotDT at this point, without an actual movie on screen or even a trailer (or good promo photos!), is what I like to call the ficcer's prayer to the PTB:

Please, O gods and muses, DO NOT JOSS ME.

(Now, the irony of me being desperate for this given my rather loose interpretation of both book and movie canon is not lost on me. At this point, the only thing I'm really, really hoping for is that they don't make Peter army. That's it. That's the only thing. I mean, it would be nice if it was a good movie, too, but the only thing I'm hoping for is that I don't get jossed on the one significant point I'm not supported by canon by whatsoever that's likely to be jossed. There is a damn good reason that my playing around in post-PC canon-supported Narnia has been very scarce: I really, really don't want to get jossed.

The irony that I am most well-known for a complete rewriting of Last Battle: also not lost on me.)

Okay, when am I going to be able to buy a poster in the store? I'm ready for that. (Huh. Maybe I should get LWW and PC posters for my new room when I go back to school in August. I played with the idea last year, but never went through with it because I'd have to order them; they don't carry Narnia posters at the -- OH MY GOD MAYBE THEY WILL THIS YEAR BECAUSE VOTDT IS COMING OUT IN DECEMBER but I will not know until August or September, when we have the annual poster sale.)
