In more, uh, relevant news: I'm taking a flight out of New Orleans tomorrow morning for Seattle, with a layover at Houston; if y'all want to see what the Tulane students and faculty saw, go here.

Now, I have to pack and then put the rest of my stuff somewhere relatively safe...

Back to Ellensburg, yeah. Mandatory evacuation; Tulane doesn't leave anyone behind. If I didn't go home, I'd be going to Jackson with whoever can't go home.

Unless New Orleans gets a direct hit and the school gets closed again, but hopefully that's unlikely. I like Tulane and New Orleans.
