I can do multi-tasking, but not this well
Jun. 11th, 2009 07:55 pmInteresting. This is the point in time when I am writing far too many things at once and therefore cannot concentrate on any of them. Usually I just have one -- Dust -- and then occasionally I have something else. Right now I have five, and it's breaking my brain. One of these is in edits ("Jump in the Fire", the Junior Pevensies PC AU), one is in the progress of being typed up and being in edits ("Mercy Call", Peter/Susan in England), one is Dust 17 (two paragraphs. Lucy POV. I know, I'm surprised too), one is in the process of being written ("Amazing Grace", Junior Pevensies, Jack on Val's death), and one is the colonial fantasy novel (winner of the weird googling of the day award, but don't worry; it's only five in the afternoon. Something else can still come up).
I'm just saying, if my head explodes at any time in the next few days, as I try to knock all these off one by one, you know why. I do not like having more than one thing in progress at a time; it's why I wanted to finish Dust before I started in on the originals. Clearly that did not occur.

ETA: One down, more to go. Amazing Grace is up over at
houseofpevensie, starring King Jack Pevensie and a rotting corpse Prince Valentine Pevensie.
