two points

*sigh* So over Thanksgiving break, several things happened: I became more or less nocturnal (witness: posts at 4:30 am), I didn't leave J.L. for four days (strangely awesome), and I watched a lot of Criminal Minds, House, and Prison Break.

The nocturnal thing is a problem because I have a nine o'clock class. My alarm went off at 7:30, I turned it off, went back to sleep, and woke up again at 8:32.

It takes me fifteen minutes to walk to class.

Boy, that was fun.

You know what I want that I haven't seen yet and is probably cruel and unusual? Icons/wallpapers of the compare/contrast of happy magnificent shining Cair Paravel of LWW and the utter destruction of the ruins of Cair Paravel of PC. And the Pevensies! Getting crowned, and then that moment in PC where they're standing in the ruins of their throne room.

I know, cruel and unusual, and yet. Why hasn't anyone jumped on that? It is totally a moment to jump on! I have depressing then/now icons from Star Wars, I wan't depressing then/now icons from Narnia. Or wallpapers. I realized a little while ago that my laptop screen is bigger than my old laptop screen, and now none of my wallpapers fit without looking funny. *sigh*

Okay. I am calm now mostly because I am doing homework, but I keep getting distracted by the fact that I write fic down the sides of my notes. We have gone over this before; I'm reading happily along about the Areopagus and the Assembly and whatnot and then all of a sudden I have Peter/Edmund crossdressing porn.

I am not kidding about that part, by the way. (It starts out "Wake up," Edmund says, snapping his fingers in front of Peter's face. "I know I said you need to sleep more, but I meant in bed, at night, like normal people.")

Or, the fun experience today in Theatre Arts. "Can I see your notes?" "NO YOU MAY NOT OHMYGOD I mean...you didn't miss much. Really. Just about the benefits of subsidizing theatres! Not much to write about. Ignore the Peter/Susan porn in the corner THERE ARE NO NOTES."

Okay, back to Athenian democracy.

Hmm, while I'm here, what do y'all think of this as a baseline for New Cair Paravel? Or the second one down here? Oh, man, these are gorgeous. Here, second one down. Huh. Maybe elements of the city walls, but --
