The term "white hat" would not be known in 1949 Britain, would it? Or America; Edmund or Peter could have picked it up from American GIs? Not a particularly big deal (not like FUCKING UP THE RANK SYSTEM OF THE RAF HELLO), but 'twould be interesting to know.

*flaps hands* I can't even explain it without quoting the whole section. It's -- well, you know how the impetus for this was "the Narnians will be worshipping the Pevensies"? Well. Um. The outburst was right before someone (read: Tirian) made the worship thing clear.

Well, that and people are running away from him in fear. Which is what set him off in the first place, and then Tirian explains why, and then there is a shrine, and Tirian crossing himself (but not for Christianity, for the four! Head for Peter's crown, left and right shoulder for Susan and Edmund, Peter's right and left hands, and heart for Lucy).

Well, there's -- a slight problem in that the majority of the Narnians either believe that, a, Aslan doesn't exist because of Puzzle, who I think was revealed and killed in one of the refugee camps, b, Aslan has abandoned them because the Calormenes have taken over Narnia and the whole Puzzle situation, or, c, they don't believe in Aslan, period.

So, in other words, this will go badly.
